PUENTE Project presentation in Genzano di Roma

Puente at the Pontifical University of John Paul II in Krakow

The meeting will be organised by the Pontifical University Student Research Group and will be open to final-year students of pedagogy, who will directly benefit from the project’s outcomes. During the meeting, the use of the project in pedagogical work within the Polish education system will be discussed.

Invitation to the networking meeting for professionals working with Ukrainian displaced people

The PUENTE Project promotes inclusion through innovative approaches to non-formal education. This networking meeting will introduce the project and provide an overview of its objectives, activities and contribution to the inclusion of Ukrainian displaced people. It will also look back on the PUENTE training course, where participants gained practical methods, experiences and competences related to inclusion. Through shared reflection and exchange, professionals working with Ukrainian displaced people will explore lessons learned, discuss ideas and identify ways to strengthen inclusive practices through non-formal education.

Building Bridges: training, inclusion and reception of refugees from Ukraine

This PUENTE Project event in Madrid will focus on training, inclusion and reception of refugees from Ukraine. The programme includes an institutional welcome and presentation of the PUENTE Project, a first-person testimony from a Ukrainian woman welcomed in Spain, a conversation among psychologists on forced displacement, trauma, adaptation and social integration, and a presentation of the training course for professionals and the Good Practice Manual developed by the project partners.

Sessão Plenária Extraordinária do Conselho Local de Ação Social de Barcelos (CLAS)

This in-person session will bring together institutional partners of the Local Council for Social Action of Barcelos to strengthen coordination, planning and evaluation of local social interventions. Aimed at public and private entities working on social development, poverty reduction and the prevention of social exclusion, the event will provide a space to share information, assess proposals and promote cooperation. Its connection with the PUENTE Project lies in its focus on inclusive community action, institutional collaboration and support for people in vulnerable situations, including displaced and refugee communities.
